A couple months ago I celebrated my 30th birthday and I'm so excited to share it with you!  I’m lucky enough to have my birthday 2 days apart from my best friend so every year we celebrate together.  This year our theme for the party was a Mexican Fiesta (except we substituted donkey’s for unicorns.. naturally), and threw in some flamingos since it was a backyard party.  Our nicknames are Milly & Tilly so I hand-stamped bracelets with the names on them.  For dinner my lovely husband prepared a menu of  shrimp, pulled pork and roasted cauliflower tacos. Along with a cabbage slaw, mexican rice and all the traditional mexican fixins: Chips, guacamole, pico de gaillo, and tomatillo salsa. Negra Modello, Pacifico’s and Tequila based cocktails were served to cleanse our palettes, ;). Following our intimate dinner, the final ingredient to ensure proper send off into my thirties was an open invite to all of our friends to join us to bump and grind to a mix of all our favorite 90’s hip-hop tracks. Nothing says happy thirtieth like Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and the bad boy family!  Hahaha! Thanks to my lovely friend Izabela for capturing these photos! XO
