Our Jilly Box collaboration necklaces have been a labour of love and we’re so eager to share the design process with you and tell you a bit more about the necklaces. THE INSPIRATION

Over a year ago, we received a mood board from the Jilly Box team that outlined the cozy cooking theme. Taking inspiration from fall celebrations, memories built around food, and family traditions, we’ve started sketching and mocking-up ideas to pitch to the team.

 

THE DESIGN

After some feedback from Jillian, Shay, and the team we landed on three designs that we would sample in multiple sizes. Jillian loved the beet pendant — it reminded her of her Granny and how they’d make homemade bortsch together when she was a little girl.

 

 

After some deliberation and sampling, the final designs were selected and we we’re so excited! We would move forward with two necklaces with delicate nature-inspired engravings — one with a beet and the other with mushrooms. Each pendant design would also include an exclusive Sugar Blossom for The Jilly Box engraving on the back and an exclusive logo tag at the end of the chain. 

 

THE PACKAGING

Just like our jewelry, the carding is designed in-house with the same attention to detail because every part of the customer’s experience should be golden! So, we designed a jewelry card that doubles as a recipe card for a special addition in the box, and to give the packaging a new life. Each recipe comes from Jillian and Tori's cook book — "Fraiche Food Full Hearts" and makes for the perfect fall meal. 

 

 

The brands included in the box have always been ones that we’ve admired and loved and now to be alongside them is so exciting and such a privilege. We couldn’t be here without everyone’s continued support so thank you + we hope you love the necklaces!
